a farewell!

Hello, and happy second anniversary! We've had a good run, but unfortunately this is the end of the road. We did say there would be a couple more weeks left, but with the dwindling playerbase and mental exhaustion on the part of the mod team, we've deemed it best that we leave off here. Of course, the game is not closing entirely! As noted before, it'll stay around as a musebox, with team caps removed. The only mod involvement will be to accept new accounts to the comm, and other than that anyone can do whatever they want. For now, our closing post is here!

We just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for sticking with us, even through our bad times and pancake days. You've all been great, and we've valued our time running this game for you! We hope the current ending is satisfactory, even if there's some loose ends left. Speaking of, if you'd like to have anything clarified about the plot, questions will be answered below!

As for the future, as most of you probably know, Youji is working on Imeeji! This is a team game, the same as AFD, though it is a public game with a smidge more restraint than we have here. If you're looking forward to something closer to AFD in tone but more plot heavy and exploration based, Mora is planning on opening a new friends-only game in about a month that is planned to have a limited run of around a year, called Death of a Planet! If you liked 'Ohi'a and the non-Harvest and Decay guides, they'll be showing up again there. Please look forward to it!

With all of that said, we'd like to thank you one last time. We couldn't have made it without you!
