GAME ANNOUNCEMENT/SIGN-UPS

shofethFrom December 7th until December 10th, Chali will be running a repeat of the sins and judgment game! For those who were not in the game when it ran originally, if you want you can read the original run.
A rundown of the rules I am straight up copying directly from the original run's announcement:
• The teams are gathered into separate rooms.
• Each round, two people will be chosen for judgement. The individuals chosen are taken out of their team rooms and put in a separate location where no one can see them or tell their identities -- with the obvious exception that a team will be able to see that one of their own members has disappeared suddenly, etc.
• Each team will be provided with two "sins" committed by the chosen pair and asked to choose which to punish and which to spare. Note that they will only be able to see the sins in question, not who committed these sins.
• Once the votes are in, the two chosen will become visible to everyone, as will the votes of each team.
• Anyone who is voted to be punished by at least three teams will have some kind of horrifying torture inflicted upon them right the fuck in front of everyone.
• For scoring purposes, each vote to punish will give a point to the team of the guilty individual. Teams with the most points lose.
This signup post is only for being judged! If you do not sign up, you can't be judged, but you can still play in the game when it comes, in the way of helping your team decide on their votes and spectating punishments.
"Sins" are anything that would constitute a crime, under any standard, or any bad thing that your character could conceivably be blamed for. You do not have to pick only one sin to represent the worst thing your character has ever done, but please keep to a list of eight items at most per character! You can provide as much or as little context as you like in this sign-up, but during the game itself all characters' sins will be stripped of as much context as possible to make things sound as bad and impersonal as possible. Characters do not have to remember or have knowledge of committing sins for them to be viable to be judged, and sins committed in afd can also be counted on top of any canon sins.
As people will be paired, people can arrange ahead of time for their characters to be pit against each other on the chopping block, but please keep in mind that people on the same team cannot be paired off. You also don't have to plan a partner ahead of time, in which case your character will be paired with someone random who is available at the same time as you. If you request a partnership please make sure your availability times match up somewhere.

Character themes/roles: things like, my character is a king, or my character self-sacrifices a lot, or my character is associated with water. anything you would consider relevant! torture will be purely physical and will not involve status effects, but also will be somewhat personalized to the characters when possible

Availability: please note which days you are available and at least a ballpark of what hours, preferably in PST
